Take a peep at Reviewer's Discarded Notebook

Wisdom From Lord Kaiaphas

August 28, 2008

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn’t want you, nothing can make him stay. Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior. Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.

Stop trying to change yourself for a relationship that’s not meant to be.
Slower is better.
Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.
If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve
then heck no, you can’t “be friends”.
A friend wouldn’t mistreat a friend. Don’t settle.

If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is.
Don’t stay because you think “it will get better.”
You’ll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better.
The only person you can control in a relationship is you.

Avoid men who’ve got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women.
He didn’t marry them when he got them pregnant, why would he treat you any differently?

Always have your own set of friends separate from his.
Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you.
If something bothers you, speak up.
Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.
You cannot change a man’s behavior.
Change comes from within.

Don’t EVER make him feel he is more important than you are…
even if he has more education or in a better job.
Do not make him into a quasi-god. He is a man, nothing more nothing less.
Never let a man define who you are.

Never borrow someone else’s man.
If he cheated with you, he’ll cheat on you.
A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.
All men are NOT dogs.

You should not be the one doing all the bending…compromise is a two way street.
You need time to heal between relationships…there is nothing cute about baggage…
Deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship.
You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you…

A relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals…
Look for someone complimentary…not supplementary.

Dating is fun…even if he doesn’t turn out to be Mr. Right.
Make him miss you sometimes…
When a man always knows where you are, and you’re always readily available to him -
he takes it for granted.

Never move into his mother’s house.
Never co-sign for a man.
Don’t fully commit to a man who doesn’t give you everything that you need.
Keep him in your radar but get to know others.

Share this with other women and men (just so they know)…
You’ll make someone smile, another rethink her choices, and another woman prepare.

Go Filipino on Busby SEO Challenge

August 12, 2008

Busby SEO Challenge was running since 1st of July and since I’ve been busy with my job, I was not able to focus on the said contest. Now, instead of concentrating to this I decided to give my support to Filipino participants. The reason why I’m giving this support is clear, I want a Filipino to grab the highest prize. It is not because I have something in return but instead I will gain the same honor that they will have. It will be a great achievement for us Filipinos. Here are those people that I’m granting my full support:

  • Busby SEO Challenge entry and optimized by Felixberto Baguyo, Jr. This is my “kasimanwa“. We live on the same province and I know this guy that’s why I’m supporting him. He’s a kind of guy that is happy-go-lucky, sometimes like to brag a lot but you can see the kindness of his heart (echos) through what he is doing for his students, provinc and his country. He’s the one who actually convinced me to start blogging and that’s why I have this byters’s blog. His entry can be found at http://www.bleuken.com
  • Busby SEO Challenge by Mito. I don’t know this one but I was convinced to support him because I see how he persevere with the said challenge to reach his current position. Actually, Felix said that Mito’s entry was his inspiration why he continue with this Busby fight. He see Mito’s determination to grab the said crown of glorifying SEO title. The URL of his website entry is http://www.pontillas.com
  • Busby SEO Challenge by Ed. This one he started as can’t be seen on the ladder but then started to climb up. He actually overtake Felix and Mito’s entry on the current leaderboard. I am supporting him because I believe that with Felix, Mito and other Filipinos he can do it, to overtake non-Filipino entries on the Busby leaderboard. The web address of his official entry can be found at http://www.bayaw.com

For the meantime, this is the only thing that I can do for them. It is a small post about how they continue with the battle but I hope it helps. In case you wished to support them (which I recommend), just make a post on your blogs about them and their journey to Busby SEO Challenge then use the address or URL (which is in bold letters) to link them. You can leave your comment here if you want more detail on how to help them. Any little things can be big to uplift the rank of this people.

Kudos to the Filipino challengers. May you reach it, the Busby SEO Challenge!
