Hi this is bleuken and I asked byter to let me post on her blog to help me with my SEO campaign called “promotional items corporate gifts srednarb.” So this post is nothing related to her posts here or in any way that she is connected with this. Now let us go down to business. I will start with the definition and the purpose of the said campaign. The long key phrase mentioned is the target phrase for this Christmas competition, specifically a search engine optimization (SEO) contest conducted by a SEM master from SEO.ph. The mechanics of the event is that you simply create a static xHTML Strict 1.0 compliant website (not a subdomain but subfolders are allowed) and make it rank on the three major search engines (Google, Yahoo and Live) for the query phrase: promotional items corporate gifts srednarb. This event started last September 22 and will end this December 22, 2008. Yes, it is a four month effort to make newly created websites to rank this very difficult and long phrase. Well, even it is so difficult, the pay is so attractive that anybody in the SEO industry in the country will definitely lured on it. I myself got addicted to it and made several “tricks” to be favored by the leading search engines.
However, the effort that I have done is still not sufficient enough to ensure my victory. I have seen that some of the entrants were doing their SEO stuff only on the last month of the competition and managed to top the rankings. I really need a lot to learn to face this different kinds of challengers. They’ve been using a different approach that is really far out of my league. My only hope right now is to at least make my entries be included in the prize money bracket just at least to pay with my efforts applied on my entries. They have prizes for sites included within top 20 of Google search engine result pages (SERP) and sites included within the top 10 of Yahoo and Live. Huhay, this promotional items corporate gifts srednarb is giving me a headache.
