Having Fun With Keno

December 23, 2008

Before I was a Keno idiot, I don’t even know what Keno is.  I thought at first, it was an anime TV series.  When my friend invited me to play keno I thought were going to play an online computer game with anime characters on it.  It was later that I knew that Keno is somewhat like a crossbreed of lottery and a bingo.

A little information for Keno idiots like me, the word “keno” has French or Latin roots (Fr. quine five winning numbers, L. quini five each).  But Keno was originated in ancient China in the Han Dynasty between 205 and 187 B.C.  In the 19th century Chinese immigrants brought the game into America and that was the start of the evolution of Keno.  Nowadays Keno is famous in modern gaming places such as casino and online betting sites.

Playing Keno live and online is almost the same, the player may mark anywhere from 1 through 20 numbers on a card that has 80 numbers arranged in eight rows of ten. The player then takes the card to a keno writer and places a bet that the numbers selected will be among the 20 drawn in the next game.  The bet is in multiples of the house minimum which is usually $1.  After the 20 numbers are drawn, winning tickets are paid according to a table that varies from house to house.  Rules in playing Keno is easy to understand and most of all it is fun and exciting.

Rockin’ N’ Rollin’ with AC/DC

AC/DC is considered as one of the icon of the hard rock bands in the late 70’s and 80’s.  AC/DC was formed by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young in 1973 in Sydney Australia but the band really took off on its colorful career in 1979.  Although the band are commonly classified as hard rock, and considered pioneers of heavy metal, they have always classified their music as “Rock n’ roll.”

The AC/DC keeps on rockin’ and rollin’ even the death of the lead singer in 1980.  When Brian Johnson join the group as replacement for the deceased lead singer Bon Scott, the band produce their best selling album entitled the Back In Black.  Up to the present the group is still rocking and rolling despite of their age.  Last October 20 of this year they released their latest album called the Black Ice.  AC/DC has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide.  The Back in Black alone has sold an estimated 42 million units worldwide.  AC/DC ranked fourth on VH1’s list of the “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock” and the seventh “Greatest Heavy Metal Band Of All Time” by MTV.  It is undeniable indeed that AC/DC is one of the most influential band in the music industry.

If you want to see this famous rock band that rock the world you have to get the AC/DC Tickets for their upcoming 2009 concerts.  Watch them live and get electrified with the best rock n’ roll music.

Keep on rollin’!

Sports Fan Ticket Haven

I am an avid sports fan I always love to play team sports.  I was a varsity volleyball player on my high school and college days and watching basketball and football games together with my brothers is my favorite hobby.

I am solid fan of San Antonio Spurs maybe because Tim Duncan is my ultimate crush since I was in college.  On my birthday last August, I was so lucky that I get an up-close and personal look at my ultimate crush Tim Duncan when I went to their games against the LA Lakers.  That was my most memorable birthday, I had witness an awesome game.  I was seating on the front box, so I really got the close up view of the breathtaking game.  The font box ticket is quite expensive, but one of my brothers got a premium sports tickets as a gift for my birthday.

I thought it was hard and expensive to get a premium sports tickets until my brother told me about a website that provide a safe, easy, and convenient way to purchase tickets 24/7.  I was surprised to find on their database the entire sports event you could ever want.  They provide tickets for NBA, NCAA, College Football and all those sports you wanted to see.  You will find tickets for virtually every major sporting event and concert on their site.  If you can’t find the tickets you want on their database you can call them they can provide great seats for you to any event, anywhere.
