Restore Your Fun with xBox360 Ring of Death Quick Fix
January 6, 2009
After almost 6 hours of non-stop action of Halo3 with my beloved and trusted xBox360 it just suddenly freezes on me. It simply freeze and decided not to respond with the controller. I let it cool down for about an hour, while I eat my very late lunch at around 3 in the afternoon. When I turn it on to have another bout of Halo3, I saw a monster with 3 flashing red lights - The Ring of Death on the front console of my beloved xBox360. It is my first time to see the glowering 3 red lights on my console instead of four green lights which indicates normal operation.
Based on my limited knowledge on xBox360 hardware at that time, 3 red lights indicates that there is a hardware problem with my Xbox360 console. The three flashing red lights appear around the power button is quite known as “Red Ring of Death“. Maybe they call it red ring of death because it kills your fun, for it does really kill my fun.
As far as I know, there are two ways you can do when you have red ring of death on your console. First, you can send it service center and wait for about a month or so to have it fixed and second, learn how to fix xbox360 and do it yourself. The first option is not acceptable because I only have 1 month vacation and I cannot afford to wait for 3 to 4 weeks to get my xBox360 console fixed. I got one option left I have to do it myself! I try to search on the internet for troubleshooting guide for xBox360, and fortunately I stumbled upon this amazing site that offers a do-it-yourself quick fix for red ring of death.
I bought the 3 red light guide from the site, which by the way very affordable. I followed the instruction in the guide. Believe it or not, I fixed my xBox360 red ring of death error in less than an hour. The guide is easy follow even to those with less technical knowledge because the technicalities are explained quite well. It is a guaranteed way for you to give your xBox360 a much-needed quick fix and restore you fun!
