Zenni Optical on New York Times
February 13, 2009
Zenni Optical on New York Times?! Yeah, you right it right. My favorite optical store was mentioned on the one of the most prestigious newspaper in the world The New York Times. Zenni Optical was cited on the Health corner of the NY Times specifically on the Money & Policy column. The column title was Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank. I would like to quote the paragraph in which the ZenniOptical.com was mentioned.
But if you want a cheap pair of backup glasses, try zennioptical.com, which sells generic frames, including lenses with antiscratch coating, for as little as $8. That’s a bargain considering the average frame price is $118, according to VisionWatch, which publishes research on the eye care market.
It is really true that Zenni Optical offers Prescription eyeglasses for only $8! I bought my Full Rim Metal Alloy with Spring Hinge (it’s on the picture above) for my eyeglasses on their shop 5 months ago and its really working well for me. They offer great eyewear for very reasonable price I guess that is the reason why they were specifically mentioned on New York Times.
